KRSP is seeking a Programme Coordinator for Physical Activity Programmes for the Traveller Community.

KRSP is now inviting suitable persons or companies to apply to coordinate the programme in a self-employed capacity. Any company applying will be required to specific the name(s) of the person(s) who would coordinate the programme(s) and to demonstrate that this person/these people satisfy the person criteria set out at IV above.

Applications received shall be to a maximum of €5000. This figure is inclusive of VAT if applicable and applicants are responsible for their own tax affairs.

Applications should be sent in a sealed envelope marked:

“Bid to Coordinate Healthy Inclusive Communities – Support Programme for Traveller Community” and addressed for the attention of Nicola Keeshan, Sports Co-ordinator, Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership, Johns Green House, Johns Green, Kilkenny.

The following three items shall be included as part of the application:
1. A short cover letter which shall state: – Availability to commence coordinating the programme and an outline timeframe for delivery (consultation, programme delivery and writing final reports) – the cost of the bid

2. A written submission setting out the suitability of the applicant to coordinate delivery of the programme (please refer to the person specification at IV above when making this submission)
3. A current up to date CV to include the names of at least 2 referees not related to the applicant

Applications received after 3pm on Wednesday 13th December 2017 will not be considered.
Assessment of Applications Following the closing date for applications KRSP and its project partners will consider which is/are the most suitable candidates for this specific programme and shall draw a short list of programme coordinators. Partners reserve the right to interview some candidates if they are split on who the most suitable candidate(s) are.

Conditions of Offers to successful applicant will be subject to funding approval from Healthy Ireland.

Offers to successful applicant will be subject to completion of Garda Vetting process satisfactory to the Sports Partnership’s requirements including the completion of an identification form and self-declaration form.
