2024 KRSP Supported Swim Lessons April/May

April 10 @ 3:30 pm - May 22 @ 5:30 pm

Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership will deliver a programme of supported swimming lessons for children with disability. These will take place in the Watershed on Wednesdays from April 10th to May 22nd – a 7 week programme.

Eligible Children are those with a disability, aged 6 upwards and attending school. Please register your child at the appropriate level (see list below).

Times: One group of 10 swimmers: 3.30 to 4.10 for improver/advanced IN THE LANE IN THE MAIN POOL

3 groups of 6 swimmers IN THE LEARNER POOL from:

3.30 to 4.10;

4.10 to 4.50;

4.50 to 5.30 in the learner pool

We are delighted that, once again, we have a fantastic group of Transition Year students to support the children on this programme for 2024. Our Swim Buddies have been fantastic support on our supported swim lessons. We are delighted that our two swim teachers Daphne and John will be teaching on the programme.

Please note: children should attend with their parent(s) / guardian 5 minutes before allotted swim time. Under no circumstance should any child enter the water unless under the supervision of KRSP staff or KRSP swim teacher. Parent(s) / guardian must remain on the facility premises for the duration of the lesson.
