Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership are delighted to run our School Hall Athletics Programme! This programme is available to all classes and abilities which focuses on childrens fundamental movements including running, jumping, co-ordination and throwing. The programme length is 6 weeks and includes:
- A tutor will come to the school on the first day to introduce equipement to teachers and children in the school
- He will run through the classes in 30/40minute slots. This time is for teachers to get notes and understand how to use the equipment.
- After the day is complete the equipment is on loan to the school for 6 weeks. It is up to the school to use the equipment as much as they like. The tutor does not return to the school after the first session.
- Once the programme is complete the equipment will need to be returned to Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnerhips office in Kilkenny (5 Dean Street, R95 HD79). Certs will then be provided to those who have partook in the programme.
- There is a small nominal cost to the programme which will be invoice to the school on completion of the programme.
