Walking in Kilkenny

Physical activity is good for your body but it is great for your mind too.

Join KRSP and our fantastic walk leader, Margaret O Keefe, on Mondays for guided fitness walks of Kilkenny City.  This is a great way to meet people and offers a chance of taking a well-deserved break from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Remember…. “A walk boosts your energy levels and self-esteem, makes you feel good and also helps you sleep, look and feel better”.  Not bad for something we can quite easily do FREE!

“Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light!”

Walking Groups

No matter how old you are, how fit you are, or how busy you are, walking works.  Make a promise to get started, and to stay committed. The goal is to walk actively just five times a week for 30 minutes each time.  You can start with just 10 minutes of walking and build from there. Kilkenny has various walking groups available.
